Visitors

Hello all!

And... sorry for disappearing on you, as usual. This past month has just flown straight out the window. I can't believe March is almost over, already.

I know a lot of you are still waiting on your prizes from the contest, so fear not. They are on my mind and I'll be getting started tonight. May take some time after that, but regardless... I will be working towards getting them all done!

I hope you're all doing great. What have I missed?

I should try out the brown paper for drawing! (I should get back to drawing traditionally, period!)

Gorgeous and inspiring work!

Really nice new ID :) Are you in your fabulous Mustang there?
How are you, is your job going well? I'm heading off to Italy in a few days, I have an excursion for about a week, sooo excited :D

Thank you my friend! I am indeed in the Mustang ;)
I'm great! Job is going well, just fairly busy but that's the nature of working life I suppose. Lucky you! What are you going to be up to in Italy? How have you been?

Aah, good to hear that you're doing well :)
Our main focus will be on the plants in southern Italy and the special mediterranian vegetation there. But I will also have an eye on the bird species there, there are a few which I would LOVE to see, for example [link] the european Bee-eater. So I think we'll do a lot of hiking and maybe visit the beach once or twice :D
Everything else is fine, I had a small operation but everything went well and the wounds are healing. I had my hair cut (from about 40cm/16inches to...really short, Halle-Berry-like ;) and could trade one of my paintings for a gorgeous hand-made pendant from someone in the US. So, everything's fine here ;)

Ohh, sounds like everything is going pretty well over there. Glad to hear your surgery was only minor. I deal with surgeries every day at my work! I'm a medical assistant for a surgeon, haha ;) Your short hair sounds awesome! And I would LOVE to see a European Bee-Eater as well. Just stunning. Perhaps I should draw one.

Hello! I saw your drawings. They are so beautiful! What kind of paper do you use? What tools you use to make your drawings?

Thank you very much!

I use bee paper company's bogus recycled rough sketch paper in 9 x 12", prismacolor premier soft core pencils, fine tip black sharpie and uni-ball signo white gel pen.
