bought him at pet shop when he was 5yrs old, the previous owner did not want him anymore, he was pretty much a caged bird for those five years, never got much attention from what the woman at the pet shop told me. He was a character when I brought him home, the lady at the pet shop said that he said all sorts of things at the petshop, picked up the sounds of the other birds in there with him, a real mimicker. Once he got comfortable at the house he started saying all kinds of things from sirens to phrases he heard on T.V. to the sound of wild birds that he heard from outside, it seemed like everyday we I would hear something new from him. He would never bite, just push your finger away, but he would go out of his way to give you a kiss sticking out that black tongue of his lol!
