The first in a series I am going to be doing, featuring extinct birds and possibly other extinct animals

The Cuban Red Macaw was a member of the Ara genus, alongside the Blue & Gold, Scarlet, Green-Winged, and numerous other species alive to this day. As it's name suggests, it was native to Cuba and was the last of the Caribbean macaws to go extinct, with the last known macaw dying sometime toward the end of the 1800s.
Cause of Extinction : Deforestation, hunting for food, pet trade.Any feedback or support of this project is greatly appreciated.
