Golden Phoenix by KristynJanelle Golden Phoenix by KristynJanelle
Just a random little drawing I threw together of a golden phoenix, since my blue phoenix I did for my boyfriend [link] is my most popular deviation thus far. No special meaning to this one. Just wanted to draw a phoenix in the same style as before, but with a different twist. Steering clear of the traditional red phoenix for now, but I may do a couple other colors if this one experiences success the same way the last one did :)

Colored pencil of recycled paper, approximately 6 hours of work.

amazing colloring, I love the bright flowing yellow collors, it also even reminds me of a griffin. :P

Thanks! I was reminded of a griffin when I was about halfway done with it, didn't realize because I was making it up as I went!

your welcome. It's mostly a great way to draw like that, you'll get to very unexpected outcomes :D

also for some reason I couldn't find my own comment on your deviation. :P
