This one was sitting half-finished for about a month now, and because I was suffering from some artist block the last few days I decided to finish it. Obviously I have some room for improvement with wolves, but overall I am happy with my first attempt.
Colored pencil on recycled paper, and I lost track of time. I'd estimate 7 hours total. Solf! Check out my Etsy shop for other listings : [link]

First off this is beautifully made :3 I really like the details of the fur and colors!Secondly the eyes are just gorgeous they really pop out and show the wolf's personality. Now the thing that is confusing me is the wolf's ears I can't really understand in what position they are the front one it looks like its forward but at the same time it looks like its turn this way soo I guess u should work a bit on that. Also the thing that amazed me even more is that this is done Traditionally with Prismacolor (That's something I will never be able to do xD but nvm this) the color and the level of detail u did just amazed me u should be proud C:
All in all this is EPIC just mind the ears that's all I can see everything else is just awesome~! again details, colors just shortly said EPIC
That's all from me take care and keep up the awesome art ;]]
"I'm here on behalf of #SelfTaughtArtist because your piece was in the group's critique requested folder." First off, I love wolves, so this caught my eye. Second, the colors are amazing. You did an extraordinarily realistic job. I love the choice of paper you used, because it doesn't draw away from the subject. If it were a bright white sheet of paper it wouldn't have the same effect. I like how you remembered to add the little hairs under his snout.
The only thing I have to say, critic-wise, is this: It would have been neat to see the wolf more centered on the page. (But sometimes us artists just start the drawing where it starts!) The ears are great, but they seem a little too bent at the tips. Hey maybe wolves do that sometimes, I don't know! But that's all i have to say.
Once again the colors and the detail, just beautiful.
