I continue to fail at titling my work, but I'm not too worried about it!

Catalina Macaw, drawn it... five or six hours, I believe. Had a lot of fun doing this one. I always love drawing Catalinas because they have such vibrancy to them. Colored pencil on recycled paper.

This piece is for sale, of course! See my Etsy.

Ahhhhhh, I cannot believe my bad luck. 3 months ago I had placed this in my cart to checkout on etsy. I was going to purchase it that month...but it was swiped from out of my cart and now someone else owns this gorgeous piece XD  Excuse me while I go scream.

Oh wow this is beautiful piece! Beak and face are very realistic. Dunno why but my favourite part in this drawing is the beak. :D And those little feathers on the face - very realistic touch. And colours are just right hue. You could have paid little bit more attention on the belly of this parrot, as you've done everything else so detailed and such. But as it's not so important part I bet you've let it like that on purpose and it works. Exactly when looking from far - I'd bet this bird is a photograph! :D I'd love to see how you draw a cockatiel. ^^
